Hi,

We have the following questions about the pin VIO of BQ79606-Q1:

1 Who provided the VIO pin connection system I/O Rail in picture 1?

2 Can the power supply for VIO pins be provided by the chip in picture 1?

3 The picture 2 show the power of VIO is provided by AVDD. But the datasheet only says the power is provided by VLDO or CVDD, So they are all ok?

    Hello Kun,

    For Base device, since it will talk to MCU by UART, so MCU's IO power will supply VIO;
    For Stack device, VIO comes from VLDO;
    DS is correct, AVDD is sensitive power rail which is not recommended to supply other portion.
