Hello all,

Can you tell me the deglitch time for each fault detection functionality? Also, are these functions available when PWM duty is 100% or 0%?

  • Weak-LED-supply detection
  • Reference resistor open or short detection

    Do you mean the TLC6C5712-Q1 part?

    For LED open and output short to GND fault, they are not availabe during 100% or 0% duty cycle, as there is no on/off time to distinguish these two faults. For LED short fault, the part can still report the fault nomally regardless the PWM dutycyle. The deglitch time is in the electric table in the datasheet.

    Weak-LED supply detecion and  reference resistor fault have nothing to do with PWM dutycyle.

    The Weak LED Supply deglitch time is 20us.
