USB-TO-GPIO: Cannot resurrect USB-TO-GPIO after firmware update with TPS65185 GUI

Hi,

I have USB-TO-GPIO from TPS65185 kit . At first, when I plugged it into USB, everything was fine, but then I ran TPS65185 GUI and it asked me to update firmware. Since then LED did not light up and interface is recognised as "Unknown Device".

I followed this thread: https://e2e.ti.com/support/power-management/f/196/p/423703/2204612 . Finally I managed USB-TO-GPIO recognised as HID device, however it is still not recognised by TPS65185 GUI.

Moreover, when I restart computer LED is not lit and device is not recognised.

Any ideas how can I fix this problem?

This seems related to the Driver Signature Enforcement feature in Windows 10, which can be disabled on a reboot. Does disabling this feature help resolve the issue?

Is the adapter recognized by the standard USB-to-GPIO software?

Once the adapter can be recognized by the PC, the I2C address in the GUI will need to be updated from 0x48 to 0x68h to properly communicate with the PMIC.

No, the adapter is not recognised by the program. I can't communicate with it.
