PTD08A020W: Difference between PTD08A020WAD and PTD08A020WAZ

Part Number: PTD08A020W

Hi team,

We received an inquiry from our customer and they would like to know the difference between  PTD08A020WAD and PTD08A020WAZ.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Best regards,

Carlo

  • Hi Carlo,

Only the PTD08A020WAD is present in the datasheet as an active orderable device. Do you have any date/ lot code from the PTD08A020WAZ? I can run this code by the customer quality engineer beginning of next week  to see what the difference between WAD and WAZ is.

    Regards,

    Jimmy

  • Hi Carlo,

A device with a WAD suffix is a through-hole device, while a WAZ suffix is a surface-mount device. The PTD08A020W was only released as a through-hole device (PTD08A020WAD).

    Regards, Jason
