TPS53219A: VDRV voltage

Could you let me know if there are any potential issue when external 5V applies to VDRV and VDD, e.g. quiescent current increasing, external or internal leakage current, latch up or other malfunction.

Imi-san,

An external voltage such as 5 V is required for VDD. It can accept 4.5 V to 25 V, so 5 V will work well. VDRV also requires an applied voltage the maximum recommended is 6.5 V. You can use 5 V for it as well or else connect to VREG. With 5 V connected to VDD, I would recommend 5 V connected to VDRV also.

Thank you very much. I understood TPS53219A works without any issue when a customer applies VDD=VDRV=5V external supply.
