Hello,
the efficiency could be worse if an inductor with higher DCR was used.
It also seems that the actual output current and voltage was not measured. This can add further inaccuracy. Note that the output voltage can be up to 6% higher in power safe mode.
I would recommend measuring input and output voltage and current directly at the IC to get reliable results. Also a low DCR inductor should be used.
The typical recommended inductor range from 1 to 2.2uH.
