Regarding TPS62040, please help to confirm the following questions:
1. What is the mechanism of device short circuit protection?Is there a risk of triggering short circuit protection if the output terminal is too large?
2. After triggering the short circuit protection, will it be automatically relieved when the conditions are met?
3. As mentioned above, is there a maximum limit for the output capacitance?How many if any?
4. Is 1.2a continuous output current?

Hello,

for the question 1 and 2 I need to align with the design team, from the D/S I don' t have information about how it was implemented this short circuit protection. I need to check if was already implemented the HICCUP short-circuit protection (this is an older part).

About the output capacitance, which value are you thinking to use?

Regarding question 4, what exactly do you mean?
