Hello
I'm using TPS56628 in my project. I'm not able to simulate TPS56628 for below mentioned conditions.
Vin min = 4.5V
Vin max = 5.5V
Vout = 3.3V
Iout = 3A
I want to know the reason for this. Please help me out in this concern.

Hi
Which tool you used for simulation? could you please share the schematic you used as well?

Hi
I'm using TI WEBBENCH tool. I'm trying to get the default circuit provided by the tool.
Please Refer the image. If I give this input schematic is not getting updated. And a alert symbol can be seen as shown in the image.
Please help me out.

Hi
Seems the min Vin only support around 5V if Vout is higher to 3.3V.
I think maybe below reasons cause this limitation
1, when Vin is lower, especially <5V, Vreg5 will be lower, that means Vdriver is lower, which will cause higher conduction loss and cause higher thernal
2, Higher Vout/Lower Vin will closer to max duty
I need check more to confirm above...
And if you Vin only support 5V, should have more suitable solution for this.

Hello
Thanks for the reply.
I will be waiting for the confirmation.

Hi,
It looks like max duty setting limitation during tool deign. I am checking with tool design team, need some time, and will let you know once update..

Sorry for delay response, after final confirmation, The min Vin for 3.3Vout is recommended to ~4.8V due to the max duty cycle limitation. please be kindly noted.
