I am having difficulties getting SMBus to work with STM32 boards, do you have a recommended MCU for SMBus communication with the bq40z80?

Ah, that looks nice; however. we also need CAN support. I should have mentioned that.

Do you have a suggestion for an MCU that can accommodate SMBus and CAN?

If we are to move to an MSP430, is there specific examples of communications with the bq40z80? or any examples of SMBus communication with a bq gauge?

Sample code would be very helpful.

We are having troubles! Thank you for all the help.
