LM3445: Design Design aid for buck-boost configuration

Part Number: LM3445
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM3447, TPS92075, LM3444

Team,

Do we have any design aids for LM3445 buck-boost configuration?

There is nothing on the TI web design program. I can’t select any Vin AC voltages less than 110VAC for any AC input products

Any excel spreadsheets would be great or an altium sim  model of the LM3445.

Thanks!

Viktorija

  • Hello Viktorija,

There are no design aids for the LM3445 for buck-boost.  It was originally designed to be a valley fill buck converter for triac dimming.  Could I get more information on what the are trying to do?  Also, if you have a flyback calculation tool you can use it for the buck-boost by setting the transformer turn ratio to 1:1 to get some information but not all.

Are they going to triac dim?

What is the input voltage and range?

What is the output voltage and current?

Any other specifics to what they are trying to accomplish.

A couple of other parts to look at are the TPS92075, LM3447 and LM3444

    Best Regards,

  • Hello Viktorija,

We are dealing with this via email so I'll close this thread.
