Hi Kevin and team,

I had a question regarding the LP87563-Q1 default output voltage. On the EVM, the output votlage defaults to 0.6V.

If I order parts instead of the EVM, will the parts also default to 0.6V? Is there a way to default it to 0V, or a different value depending on my design parameters?

    Hi Alpha,

    Default voltages depends on the OTP settings of the device. For EVM's those are set minimum.

    If you order same OTP parts as assembled on EVM those will be with same default voltages. 0V can be achieved by setting device output disabled. But minimum enabled voltage is 0.6V.

    Default voltage can be set between 0.6 V - 3.36 V by OTP but this is done in production phase to be permanent.

    OTP's with different default voltages can be requested from TI sales.
