LMV431: Pin compatible alternatives

Team,

My customer is looking to add a 2nd source alternatives to LMV431AIM5X/NOPB and LM4050BIM3-2.5/NOPB on the current design. We would be second sourcing ourselves in this case. So, question is - do we have pin compatible alternatives to our devices, or something that would not require drastic board changes?

    Hi Viktorija,

    The LM4050 can 2nd sources to the TI variant TL4050A25IDBZR. The LM was created by national prior to the acquisition and the TL is TI created.

    The LMV431 has no exact 2nd source in the market due to its 30V capability which is a unique differentiator. Most customers do not use it up to 30V or greater than 20V. I would double check the customer use case.

    If they use it below <6V I would suggest the TLV431AIDBZR or TLVH431AIDBZR.

    If they use it <18V then I would suggest only the TLVH431AIDBZR.
