Hi,

I am thinking about a circuit where a voltage higher than Vout and lower than Vin is applied to Vout when the EN pin of the TLV742P is High or Low.

Can the IC operate without problems after removing the applied voltage?

    Hi, 

    If Vext is less than Vin, the body diode will not be on and there will be no reverse current from the output to the input. After removing the external voltage, the leakage will bring the output voltage down, and once it is dropped to the set voltage, the LDO will start regulating.
