Hi Teams,
Apple carplay asks test 160% times current test for 1ms, how can I pass it?
For example, the charge requirement is 2.1A, so we design the current limit 2.5A which allows low and high limit about 2.2A and 2.7A respectively. But the new test requirement asks we should also pass the short 1ms 3.36A. Without modifying the current limit higher up to 3.6A, we cannot pass it. But the side effect of raising the current limit to 3.6A is all the power supply path should design for 3.6A because no one can protect the charging path below 3.6A current.
I were thinking to add a delay circuit to sustain 1ms over current without raising my current limit to 3.6A, but no idea about it.
Thanks in advance,
Nick.
