TPS82130: TPS82130 in an Inverting Buck-Boost Topology

Hi,

Is it possible to use the TPS82130 (TPS821x0) in an Inverting Buck-Boost Topology like in this application report: http://www.ti.com/lit/an/snva882/snva882.pdf

Checking both functional block diagram I can't see why not, but I'd like to be sure it would work.

Hi Balazs,

Yes, TPS82130 is often used in IBB topology. Take a look at a couple of the reference designs listed here (TIDA-01457 and TIDA-01405).

By the way, this question has come up in several other threads, like this one, which I found with a quick search here in E2E.
