Hi sir,

I have a question for BQ24079 .

If I would like to set charge point in -15~50 degress C.

could you please to help me to cehck following resistor value

RS 323ohm, RP 52905ohm , R temp (thermistor 10K)

Hi William,

Yes, the calculated Rs = 323 Ohm and Rp = 52905 Ohm will set the operating range to -15 to 50 deg C

Hi Anthony,

May we set range to -15~45 deg C?

when I input R_cold 76385 R_hot 4760

R_S =-363ohm R_P=44326ohm ( negative number?)

Hi William,

The BQ24079 will have trouble as the boundary gets lower or smaller. If you'd like to set it to that range, the BQ24079T can be configured to that range.

Hi William,

Murata Electronics NTC has a 10k 103AT Thermistor with a beta value of 3380 +/- 1%. The Digikey Part number is 490-11806-1-ND

To choose an NTC may change your Rs or Rp values when configuring the range for BQ24079T. Be sure to update the sheet with the corresponding RHot and Rcold values from the thermistor datasheet.
