BQ24079: Battery Pack Temperature Monitoring

Dear Sir,

I would like to set up the temperature 0~45 degree C. May suggest me the thermistor valute ?

also, does BQ24079 have output over-voltage protection from battery side, like (4.2v battery )? thanks.

Hi Lucifer,

We have a Linear charge NTC calculator that can help you with calculations set up temperatures. The BQ24079T has voltage based TS monitoring iif there is no suitable resistor values on the BQ24079. As for OVP on the battery side, normally a PCM module is used on the battery end to protect from over voltage.
