TLV62585: Vfb_R2 define

Part Number: TLV62585

Hi Team,

may i know why the R2 must not be high than 100kOhm? because we check SPEC.

if we used 105kOhm, could you let us know the risk for this value?

  • Hi Tommy,

A higher R2 will lead to more losses, and these are significant at light loads. Higher resistances at FB pin also means the actual current that goes into FB pin will be very low, and the impact of noise at low currents is pronounced. Having said that, the value of R2 is a recommendation in datasheet, and if higher losses are not a concern and your system is able to provide you a stable output, I dont see a reason why this can be an issue.

I hope this answers your query.

    Best Regards,
    Zain
