Hi, 

Suggest to design a 500W AC- DC converter Module.

Input 180VAC - 260VAC 1-phase 50HZ, AC power supply

Output: 24VDC volt and 21A DC current

Which topology is reliable and easy to build?

Suggest some of the controllers for the above specification.

    TI has an off line AC to DC converter with power factor correction with a 24V 21 A output.

    You can find the design at the following link.  You can download the Gerber files and the BOM and build your own.
