WEBENCH® Tools/UCC24630: Design guidance on AC/DC adapter dual output

Thank you for your interest in TI flyback controllers.

The EVM is in your power level range, but it is a single-output design.  However, it is useful to grasp the circuits necessary to produce such power.  For 12V, the turns-ratio and several output components will be different.

For the second 5V output, an additional winding and output stage will be necessary.

These designs are also single-output, but involve a variety of controllers.  Because of your 2 outputs, I recommend to use a flyback controller that uses opto-coupled feedback rather than PSR (primary-side regulation).  These will have better regulation on both outputs.  Some controllers to consider are LM5023 and UCC28740.
