TLV741P: PSRR

Part Number: TLV741P

Hello team,

This might be basic question but can we use fig10 for Vin3.3V, Vout2.5V as well?

The customer is a little bit concerned about it.

If there's no big differences between Vout2.5V vs Vout1.8V, I'm going to tell the customer to use fig10.

Best Regards,

Kazuki Kitajima

  • Hi Kazuki,

You can use figure 10 if Vin is 3.3V and Vout is 2.5V.
As you can see in the electrical characteristics description, once you are 500mV above the dropout voltage, these PSRR curves apply.
After Vin is larger than (Vout + 500mV), the line voltage makes little impact to the PSRR curves.
The customers application is well above this threshold, so they are safe to use figure 10.

    Thanks,
