Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools
Hello ,
I was trying to run the spice LM63615-Q1 model in Pspice for different analysis like dc sweep, AC response, but the model fails with the existing design itself .
And also i tried running the transient response, its taking more time then expected to generate the result . is there any issue with the model provided or any correction that has to be made from my side ?
2. I tired the same IC with the webbench, simulation is missing in it. Is there any other possibilities I can simulate this IC with different tool ?
Below is the image for you reference .

Hi
I can see the picture you attached, I tried Pspice mode, it shows erro about command ignored, do you have the same issue?
Thanks
hi
As i said earlier it is one of the error, i cant able to proceed further . how to resolve this?
Hi
sorry for the typo, I can't see the erro info you attached. I switch to another laptop, and the Pspice simulation looks OK, can you help attached the erro information so that I can forward to related people see any whether they have any suggstion
Hello Daniel ,
I was trying to perform DC sweep analysis from 9 to 17V with a constant output of 8V ,.5A .
I was getting error during the run time, Attached the error below and also while performing the same with webbench, simulation output is not available for this IC , is it possible to include the simulation for this .

Hi
I am checking the issue internally, I look for modeling team help on it, but I am not sure whether we can close this issue, pls wait.
Thanks
Hi Taufeeq,
Thanks for reaching out to us. Please find answers below:
1. We cannot perform DC and AC analysis on switching models in PSPICE. Hence pspice transient model available on WEB donot support DC and AC analysis.
You should be able to run transient simulations without any issues.
2. Simulations are not enabled for this device on WEBENCH. Pleas try running transient simulations in Pspice and let us know if you face any issues.
Hello Imran,
sorry for the late replay ,
Just for calcification, this constrain is only for this particular IC (LM63625) or it is applicable for all switching models from TI ?

Taufeeq
Applicable to all switch mode regulator models that I am aware, not unique to this buck converter.
Luckily, we provide the tools to perform analysis which can be achieved in timely fashion.
If additional assistance on analysis is required, feel free to reach out to your local TI sales representative or connect with us over the forum.
