TPS51200: How to calculate Tc (case) of TPS51200?

Hi

I only found Tj from -40 to 150 degree and Ta from -40 to 85 degree.

Could you please advise what's the Tc range or how to calculate? Thanks.

Hi Molly,

TPS51200 uses thermal pad (bottom case) to dissipate most heat.

The Tj can be calculated by: Tj=Tc+10.9*Ploss. Here Tc is the bottom case temperature.

Do we have recommended or MAXIMUM operation temperature range for Tc ?

Or the customer could just follow the MAXIMUM Operating junction temperature, TJ?

The maximum Tc is depending no power loss.

I would suggest to use maximum Tj.
