Dear Mr. Beck,

I still have problems with the circuit they have a contact person for me in Germany.

When the input volte change is the output voltage is not stable and the output Voltge ist noice (200mV).

I have chose the values Resistor/Induction/Capaciter after simulation. The simulation results gived this note:

The output current of 50mA is low, according to the data sheet this is the correct mode "Pulse frequency modulation mode (PFM) when switching frequency is decreasedat very light load."

I cannot see your images.

In PFM mode, increased ripple is expected and it can resemble that of sawtooth waveform.

If increased output ripple is not desirable, which is inherent with PFM of operation, device can be operated in forced continuous conduction more, or forced pulsed with modulation mode, the names being alias of one another.

do I understand correctly that the PFM-Mode is not suitable?

My general conditions:

Uout=5VDC (use for an analog Signal-Conditioner, noiseless)

Uin = 25-31VDC

Iout = 25-50mA

Temperature: -25°C- +85°C

a small number of external components (Space requirement)

I don't see how I can choose a different mode at the LMR50410, do you have an alternative switching regulator that meets my requirements.

If small output ripple is desirable, a device operating in auto mode, which PFM is a subset of, would not be desirable.
