Hi,

I'm curious about the fundamental difference between system side and pack side fuel gauge chip (BQ27441 and BQ27411).  Sounds like the system side chip supports battery detect feature, whereas pack side chip doesn't.  Can I use the system side chip with hardcoded battery detection on a battery pack application? Or there is a reason I shouldn't / couldn't do that?
