I would like to use alternative for bq8015. What would you recommend? I would like to use it to build EV2300.

    bq8015 is obsolete. TI has multiple advanced gauging solutions that can replace bq8015.

    Hello Go,

    EV2300 is obsolete. Based on your comment, I think that you are trying to build an EV2300. If that is the case, then there is no drop in replacement available for bq8015. A number of components on the EV2300 are obsolete and not available. I recommend that you use the EV2400 instead.

    If you are looking for bq8015 as a gauge, i do not think that there is a pin to pin compatible version that you can use. I would recommend the bq40z50-R2 for replacing an application that previously used bq8015. bq40z50-R2 has lower BOM count and better accuracy.

    I tried using ADVANCED-BQMTESTER. It is not compatible with EV2400. Does it supposed to work together? I have another question. Does BQPRODUCTION work with Windows 10?

    Hello Go,

    Please create a separate thread for new questions.

    BQMTESTER and ADVANCED-BQMTESTER are not expected to be compatible with EV2400. EV2400 is newer than ADVANCED-BQMTESTER.

    BQPRODUCTION is not designed for Windows 10 but is likely to work on Windows 10.
