BQ24196: Output voltage control for BQ24196

Part Number: BQ24196

I have a requirement in which input is 5V, 3A,  I need to have a LiIon battery backup.  My output should be 3.3V for both conditions: 1) When I have input 5V supply 2) When I am running on battery 

Can I use this part ?  If yes, please send relevant schematics and configuration parameters

    Hi,

    The device may support 3.3V output at SYS pin, but SYS voltage will not be fixed at 3.3V. Please refer to 8.3.2.1 Narrow VDC Architecture and Figure 10. V(SYS) vs V(BAT) for the details.
