TPS2663: 4 TPS26633 parallel use application

Part Number: TPS2663

Hi Team,

Our customer will be using 4 TPS26633 IC in parallel (all powered from a common rail and outputting on a common rail).  He'll be adding the external FETs to make use of the RCB and RPP feature.  The question is would every TPS26633 part require the external FETs  or just one of them because all the TPS26633 parts are in parallel?

Please let me know your input.

By the way, I already shared this thread to the customer:
https://e2e.ti.com/support/power-management/f/196/p/899239/3325203

The customer answer was:
it shows discrete components C(d/dt), R(ilim), R(ilon) for each tps26630 even though pins dV/dT, ILIM and IMON are connected between the two TPS26630 parts. he would think you'd only need one set of the discrete parts, otherwise, having two in parallel would change the value seen by these pins.

Thanks,

Jonathan
