Hi, i want to design USB_C hub,

it's have 3 ports

1. USB_C connected to tablet (Host)

2. USB 3.0 type A connected to Device

3. Power supply (charge the tablet)

Even without the power supply the tablet should be the OTG to the device

which components i need to use ? do i need to embedded it ?

Can you confirm all the downstream ports would be Type-A only?

Is there any power delivery function?

What do you mean by the tablet being OTG to the device, does that mean you need the hub to support OTG / role reversal?

Hi JMMN,

in the hub there is just one port type A for the device

the device should be powered by the tablet while the tablet should be charged by the power supply.

Hi Asaf,

We have some reference designs you can use as a starting point. They obviously have a lot more features than you need but it will give you a good starting point.

We do recommend that you use the more recent TUSB8042A instead of the older TUSB8041.
