TPS62840: TPS62840DLCR availability

Part Number: TPS62840

Hello,

I can see on the TI web site that the TPS62840DLCR product status is active but also that there is no stock

and no samples available (and the status is the same for the DSBGA package).

Would you please tell me when samples and production parts will be available?

    I think that it would be better for you to open a ticket/request on the Customer support center (Customer support center – Homepage - Customer Support (service-now.com).

    They should be able to provide you more detailed information on the future availability.

    I have the same question. There's a board being held waiting for status, but the customer support folks aren't really helpful in answering the direct question. The response is to add my name to to a "update me" button on the website and a mail will come when ready. Will that happen in 3 weeks or 3 months? I see mouser has 819 coming in mid-may and then 57K expected november. Something seems not right.

    Can you please give a hint as to what is happening with this part? Should we move to the larger package? Or has a big customer purchased all your allocation which means even the larger package will be impossible to get in a few months?

    Hi User,

    Due to increased demand we are having longer lead times at the moment. My advice would be place orders as soon as possible to get goods allocated. Currently we have better lead times for a device with bigger package (TPS62841/TPS62842). If you don't have space constraints on your board, I would encourage you to switch to those devices.

    Unfortunately I don't have  any specific data.

    I think that the Customer Support should be the right place for this kind of questions.
