Hi
BQ24650 design with solar charge controller, when the battery is deeply discharged, the output voltage of the solar power panel reaches the MPPT voltage in the morning, and the charging panel is pre-charged for 30 minutes.
Due to the light intensity problem, when the output of the solar power panel is greater than the MPPT voltage, the current is only 7mA, and the voltage of the battery will never be charged to the fast charge voltage.
How to improve this problem?
Thanks
Star
Hi Star,
If output voltage of solar panel is higher than MPPT then you will not be in input voltage regulation. I am not sure I understand your test conditions here.
