Hi

My customer wants to confirm whether the output can be 0.5A
Or suggest a suitable product

    Hi Gareth,

    For integrated transformer, control and switches, UCC12050 is the lowest profile, highest integration, lowest EM emissions, DC/DC bias converter module in its class but it is limited to 500mW, so 5V at 100mA is the output limit here. Another popular 5-V isolated bias option is SN6505A and SN6505B which is an open loop push-pull driver with integrated switches like UCC12050 but uses an external transformer and rectifying diodes. The external transformer enables SN6505x to easily handle up to 1A for a 5V bias output. Thanks for connecting through E2E.
