Hi Team,

My customer is trying to replace their battery management solution(NXP MC33772B) with TI BQ79606A-Q1. So please check their requirements below if it can be replaced. I think that their requirements meet the spec of BQ79606A-Q1, but need to check in more detail.

Requirements :

A. Operating power voltage range : less than 5V (except for main supply voltage)

B. Supported min. 3 cells

C. Integrated FET for cell balancing

D. Supported functional safety ASIL : more than ASIL-B

E. Supported ADC and GPIO : more than 4-ch

Yes the bq79606a meets all the requirements, you can view the datasheet available online as well as more collateral there.
