TPS54561: negative voltage on SW

Hi Team,

Just want to check with you on if it's OK for TPS54561.

Due to diode forward voltage, SW has -0.8V voltage which is beyond, please kindly check on this.

Do you know what is the duration of the -0.8V? Normally it should be ok

Thanks for your reply.

Since it is CCM，the diode always has current when HS mos is off. Fsw is 300kHz，duty cycle is 0.3，so the duration of -0.8V is ~2.3us in each cycle. Thanks.

Hi Given,

Since the duration of the -0.8V is in ns instead of us. Unfortunately i could not recommend this. I would recommend to get a better schottky diode since the abs max for the part is -0.6V
