LM2766: Could it be used as voltage splitter?

Part Number: LM2766
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM2765, , LM2665, MAX660

The popular MAX660, and one of TI's derivative, LM2665, could also be used as voltage splitter. A "Splitting Vin in Half" circuit is illustrated in the section 10.3 of MAX660 datasheet and in the first page of LM2665 datasheet. But this mode is not mentioned in the datasheet of LM2766 (also LM2765).

Question:

Is there any extra circuit in this part blocking current from high voltage to low voltage? or it could work bi-directionally, as MAX660 and LM2665 do?
