    Hello Ishii-san,

    If the inductor loses its internal ferrite (2.2 uH → 0 H), you will have the SW pin connected to the output directly through a short circuit. At power on or during operation, a sudden increase in the current will occur and the device's current limit protection will kick in as described in page 8 and 9 of the DS, and if the device survives that and manages to regulate, it will be heating up and thermal shutdown will happen.

    May I know the scenario that you expect to lead to this situation?
