AM5706: What is MASTER PMIC and SLAVE PMIC ?

Hi,

According to the Jacinto7 DRA821 Evaluation Module (EVM) User’s Guide, there are MASTER PMIC (TPS6594-Q1) and SLAVE PMIC (LP8764-Q1). What is the MASTER PMIC? SLAVE PMIC? It means the SPMI master and slave ?

Is there the similar relation (MASTER/SLAVE PMIC) in the case of LP8733-Q1 and LP8732-Q1 on the DRA71x EVM CPU board ?

It seems that these PMICs don’t have SMPI, but have I2C.

Hi Matsumoto-san,

Can you please clarify your question more clearly? you have referred to AM5706, DRA71x EVM and Jacinto 7 all in one post and referenced different PMICs as well.

If possible, please provide a clear background and ask your question so that we can take this forward.
