Hello Team,

My Customer has a problem with the text encoding in code composer studio. They have some Czech and Spanish characters that I would like to add to the file. If they change from cp1252 to UTF-8 the problem persists and they cannot compile.
They change from cp1252 to UTF-8 the problem persists. Those characters that they want to add are bigger than 1 byte.

What is the TI device which CCS is used for?

Hello Bin,

The device is MSP430F5659 and they are using Code Composer Studio v6.1.2, Compiler 16.9.0

1.Go to Windows Menu –> Preferences –> General (expand it) –> Workspace (click on it)

2.Look for a box “Text File Encoding”. Default will be “Cp1252″.

3.Change radio to select other and select “UTF-8″ from combo box
