OMAPL137-HT: Emu pins

Part Number: OMAPL137-HT

Hi team,

I got a question from customer.

"I am designing a board using OMAPL137BPTPH (the high temp component, 176-pin package) and I cannot find the EMU pins for the JTAG emulators. How do I perform JTAG emulation, debugging with this component? "

Thank you very much for your help.

Best regards,

  • The JTAG signals are used as the primary interface for debugger functions.  What debug functions are you trying to use that require the EMU signals?

    Regards,
    Paul

  • Hi peaves,

Thank you for your help.I got feedback from customer.

"I don't know. I see some OMAP devices have EMU0 and EMU1, but not the one I am using. I was hoping you could clarify what those pins are for."

    Thanks a again.

    Best regards,

  • The OMAPL137 design has EMU[1:0] pad, but it does not appear they are connected to pins in the OMAPL137-HT device. These signal functions support board-level cross-triggering and HSRTDX. However, HSRTDX is a feature that is no longer supported in CCS.

    Paul
