SK-AM64: Codesys package installation

I’m running into an issue when trying to copy over and install the target for CodeSys on the SK-AM64, as described here.

I have the CODESYS Control for Linux ARM64 package files extracted, but am having trouble transferring them to the SK through the scp commands specified:

I have changed the IP address of my SK-AM64x to fix eth0 to 192.168.0.200, and can "successfully" run the command to transfer the files:

The issue is that I cannot find these files on my SK directory. When I run the ‘ls’ command, nothing returns. I have also tried adding the ‘:~’ to the end of the command, but then I run into a different error that is unknown:

I disconnect my ssh session to my SK during this copy process, but still see the same result.

Any suggestions on how to successfully transfer these files?

Hi Ryan,

Just want to confirm, are you running the ls command from the root directory via a terminal like TeraTerm as described here: https://dev.ti.com/tirex/explore/content/tirex-product-tree/am64x-devtools/docs/am64x_skevm_quick_start_guide.html#running-linux-and-demos-on-the-evm

In this demonstration, I believe Pekka is transferring the files from a linux machine to his AM64x evm--would it be an issue running the scp command from the command prompt on my windows machine?

Could you please try running it from Windows PowerShell instead?

Hi Sahin,

I believe to have solved the issue-- I was unable to ping the SK-AM64x from my windows machine, so I changed the static IP of the SK to be closer to the IP seen on windows. When I was able to ping the device, I was able to use the scp command and copy over the files correctly.
