Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM4378
Good day TI Team,
In our application, we need to use DMA for Uart to transfer highspeed data. On board currently I have AM4378 but in production we are planning for AM4372.
While implementing, I came across the following links:
- https://e2e.ti.com/support/processors-group/processors/f/processors-forum/989682/am4372-edma-write-bus-error-on-uart0
I also went though the errata :sprz408d.pdf
I am wondering is it still possible to use EDMA for UART0, UART4 and UART5?
As the errata on Pg# 26 mentions the following:
Workaround If DMA is needed for reads from UART, use UART0, UART4, or UART5
In our applicaiton we need DMA for both read/write operation on the UART using EDMA. Can you please throw some light on it which UART 0-5 is capable of?
Regards,
Ankur
