AM6442: Connections for Unused warm reset inputs

How to connect each of the unused warm reset inputs (MCU_RESETz and RESET_REQz)?

The schematic review checklist (SPRACU5B) describes that they must be held low during power sequencing.

Should the unused warm reset inputs (MCU_RESETz and RESET_REQz) be tied to the reset output along with the cold reset input (MCU_PORz)?

    Hi,

    Can each of the unused warm reset inputs (MCU_RESETz and RESET_REQz) only be pulled up to their supply voltage and not connected anywhere else?

    Each of these balls must be connected to the corresponding power supply through separate external pull resistors to ensure these balls are held to a valid logic high level if a PCB signal trace is connected and not actively driven by an attached device. The internal pull-up may be used to hold a valid logic high level if no PCB signal trace is connected to the ball

    The schematic review checklist (SPRACU5B) describes that the reset signals into MCU_PORz, MCU_RESETz and RESET_REQz must be held low during power sequencing.

    Do not the unused warm reset inputs (MCU_RESETz and RESET_REQz) need to be held low during power sequencing?

    Daisuke, that is not correct.  As far as reset signals, Only the MCU_PORz signal needs to be held low throughout power ramp.  We will get this corrected in the schematic checklist
