AM6442: Support for Lauterbach debugger

Hi Team

We are currently working on U-Boot to bring up our AM6442 based custom board. For debugging purposes we use a Lauterbach debugger as we do for other projects. This works fine so far. However we are unable to inspect the registers of the peripherals. This is because there is not peripheral definiton file (.PER) present for the AM6442 in our Lauterbach installation. The Lauterbach support tells us, that they do not get appropriate information from TI to construct this file. This is very unsatisfactory for us. In the past, this used to work. We require this data to effectively do our job.

I apologize for the inconvenience. We are currently working on generating the peripheral register files which will act as the necessary input to Lauterbach. This will likely take a few weeks to conclude.

Yes this is correct. We will make xml files available for use with Code Composer Studio and hand off the same to Lauterbach so that they may convert to enable peripheral definition through Lauterbach debugger.
