Hello all,
Is Lauterbach debugger support available for AM6202Q?
If support is available for the debugger, what is Lauterbach's male connector type and pinout?
Thanks & regards,
Gokul
Hi Gokul
I believe Lauterbach is supported for AM62x family. I will assign this to a hardware colleague for further guidance.
Thanks Mukul. Please share the jtag connector type & pinout?
Thanks & regards,
Gokul
Gokul,
Formal Lauterbach support for AM620x is not supported yet because this is not yet a released part. However, much of the functionality should be common with the AM625x and AM623x packages. Is there a specific feature you are trying to use?
For jtag connector type and pinout are you referring you what is supported on the EVM or jtag pins available on the device itself?
Thanks,
Chris
Hi Chris,
Do you have spec for SW Lauterbach type then I can see what the female connector on the debugger side ie, what is the pinout on the connector , only then can I determine what is our machining male connector on our side and the test points arrangement
Thanks & regards,
Gokul
Hello Gokul
Thank you for the note.
Please expect delay in response due to the yearend holidays.

Gokul,
I am not aware of any limitations from a debugger perspective. With regards to pinout for the connector, you can reference our SK-AM62 EVM for an example of how JTAG is pinned out: https://www.ti.com/tool/SK-AM62
See below:
Thanks,
Chris
Hi Chris
As our board is very small , so we want to only implement them with maximum 10pins. do you have any special requirements to support debug with Lauterbach debugger?
Xiaoyu,
We have the following reference material for information on emulation and trace headers: https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/spru655i/spru655i.pdf.
Nothing obvious is listed that will be supported with 10 pins. I encourage you to contact Lauterbach to confirm the minimum set of signal connections required to support their debugger as they may have more insight in how best to optimize pin usage.
Thanks,
Chris
