Hi TI team
We are using XDS200 emulator to program TMS8320C6655. We are not able to connect to device
Getting below mentioned error During programming from CCS
error connecting to the target:
(error - 2131 @ 0x0)
Unable to access device register. Reset the device, and retry the operation.
If error persists, confirm configuration, power-cycle the board, and/or try more reliable JTAG settings (e.g. lower tclk).
(Emulation package 8.4.0.00006)
We are not able to proceed further all connections are fine. Power fine
Please help us in resolving this problem.

I understand that it is a custom board.
If you are new to setting upthe JTAG connections.... and Just to make sure and to make you experience on the working setup, Do you have TI EVMS? i.e., C6657 EVM ?
If yes, Would you please try the same target connection, by following this FAQ and update me the results?
Once that is through, you will get an idea, where the problem lies...

And also, on the schematics front, Please do compare with the schematics of C6657 EVM with your custom board.

Yes we have C6657 EVM we have already setup JTAG in EVM board. We have done target connection it's working fine in EVM board.
Same procedure followed for custom board. JTAG target connection failed.
Results of both EVM and custom board are attached
Please suggest what to do next.

From your screenshot, I could understand, the JTAG works on C6657 EVM and not on your custom board.
If that is the case, it is most likely the hardware problem.
