Hi,

I am using am5718 idk and my SDK version is 6.03.00.106 Linux. I want use a pin to gpio then how can I change the dts file related to that. Explain with an example.

It is a different board but the procedure should be the same and you can get more information on how to use the SYSCONFIG tool (Also referred to as the Pin Mux tool).

The App Note https://www.ti.com/lit/an/sprac44a/sprac44a.pdf also goes over using the "Pin Mux Tool" and gives an example as well.

Hi josue,

If i want to configure a gpio pin, then should i first change in dts file regarding that gpio for sysfs after booting the board.

It is not very clear to me what you mean by the last part of your sentence:

You do not have to do anything with the sysfs tool if you modify the device tree file and have the correct pinmux.
