C6678 already has RTOS. The processor SDK 6.3 has RTOS in it. Download link for PROCESSOR-SDK-RTOS-C667x  06_03_00_106 : https://software-dl.ti.com/processor-sdk-rtos/esd/C667x/latest/index_FDS.html

C6678 was already successfully running the RTOS.  

All the examples given in the below link runs on top of the RTOS.
