TMS320VC5502: Difference between GBE and ZAV package

Helllo,

Our custoemr is asking what is difference between GZZ and ZZZ package of TMS320VC5502. I have checked similar Q&A in below thread but still difficult to understand the difference between GBE and ZAV. Could you please clarify?

In addtion, despite below errata was released, datasheet on ti.com is still showing GZZ and ZZZ which are old one. Could you please update datasheet on ti.com? The old part numbers are no longer correct orderable part number and customer cannot place order correctly.

Hello,

The difference in GZZ and ZZZ packages are only the Eco-Status as referred in Section 2.2.1 of the datasheet. These package designators are now changed to GBE and ZAV after discontinuing the Microstar BGA package. As per section 6.2 - the packaging information in the datasheet reflects the latest devices and orderable part numbers and is not tied to the revision of the document.

Based on the ECO plan in the 6.2 - ZAV or GBE package can be used.
