66AK2L06: Can external signals drive unpowered SERDES on SGMII pins

Hi, I am using the 66AK2L06XCMSA on our board. May I know If the 66AK2L06 is not yet powered up, is it acceptable for the AC-coupled SGMII SERDES lines to be driven by an external device? Thanks in advance.

For other MCUs that I'm familiar with, we don't recommend driving any voltage through the I/O pins to an unpowered device as it may backpower the device that can potentially damage the device. However, I have no knowledge to say for this particular device.
