Hi Team,

A customer is looking to use TMS320VC54x for CompactFlash Memory Card in True IDE mode as per SPRA803. This document mentioned a " the source code is available electronically from the TI web site" however, i could not see the source code mentioned. would you kindly point me to the correct link?

In addition, I know that the C5000 devices are not recommended for new design, if I were to use C6000, can you please let me know how can I interface CompactFlash Memory Card in True IDE mode?

The C54x DSP is very old and I don't think we have anybody who knows about the source code that your customer is looking for.

If the C6000 was used in place of C5000 devices, can you please let me know how can I interface CompactFlash Memory Card in True IDE mode similar to the document SPRA803?

Unfortunately the application note you are referring to is 22 year old and we do not really get any questions on CF. The C54x interface looks to be EMIF , so on a c6000 device this will be an EMIFA/EMIF used traditionally to hook up to parallel NAND/NOR flash or Async memories.

We will not be able to support any additional question on this topic but hope this helps some.
